Hi, I’m Lacey!

I am a devoted mom of two teenagers, and wife to my co-author in life. I am lucky to be called friend by some really incredible and inspiring people. I have been told that I am loving, fun, creative, full of life, and the person they can come to when they need advice or just a compassionate listening ear.

When I am not photographing humans and brands you can find me starting my day with a quiet mindful cup of coffee and my morning pages, (which I swear by!) “mom-ing” (if you are a mom, you know what I mean), exploring nature, gardening, feeding birds, reading a good book, cooking a healthy meal, or planning the next fun adventure for my family and friends. Traveling to new places and experiencing joyful and memorable moments with the people I love is one of my most favorite things.

I recently stepped away from working in the public schools where I was coaching students and teachers on mindfulness practices and programs that I created. It was soul-fulfilling work where we saw thousands of lives transformed. Like all good things, it was time for that chapter in my life to close and this new one to begin. Welcome, I am really glad you are here.

Professional Bio

Lacey Melguizo is a multi-faceted brand photographer and creative dedicated to capturing authentic moments for heart-centered humans. Her journey as a photographer began when her daughter was born 15 years ago, and became obsessed with photography. This passion transformed after her son was born when she created her first business as a family and wedding photographer. Her work has been published in multiple wedding blogs and magazines and won several awards.

Her passion for photography has evolved to breathe life into her client’s stories through brand photography and content creation. Her background as a certified mindfulness meditation coach working with individuals and teams over the last seven years set the stage for her to create compassionate and stress-free experiences for her offerings.

Lacey began her professional career as a Registered Dental Hygienist over 20 years ago. This experience has sharpened her attention to detail and making people feel comfortable in uncomfortable situations. Creativity and art fuel Lacey’s working life as a creative entrepreneur and bringing joy to the people she creates with.
